Horseshoe Shaped Bank of Windows

This was a most challenging workroom project and my client and I were thrilled with the outcome. The challenging part is the shape of the eating area in the kitchen. The home is Victorian and has bumpouts; this one is in the shape of a horseshoe. My client had recently wallpapered her kitchen and was unable to use her former window treatments, which were inside mounted on each individual. She also wanted some insulation from the cold. We fabricated and installed a Sheffield valance on a board in one piece, and installed Hunter Douglas Duette Architella honeycomb shades on each window to keep out the cold and dark.
